Design Collective

Having a background in psychology guides my design approach. My training allows me to be curious and ask questions to help your redesign process be intentional. You will be able to hand off the room project that has been waiting to get done. I work with you at the beginning to help us identify the direction and key words you want to describe your space. Then I will move forward with sourcing materials to creating concept boards and all the way to the final installation.

Every room deserves its own attention and creative process. I believe change should be both manageable and meaningful. Through refreshing a single area in your home, my hope is that you will feel an energy shift both in your space and in yourself.

For a long time, I have contemplated with how to bring together all the things I love into one professional setting. I often felt pigeonholed into my significant training as a Licensed Therapist, and while I am deeply passionate about this work, at times I found myself burnt out or stifled by the belief that you have to be “all in”.

I assumed it was impossible to have one collective space that allowed me to be aligned with myself and my creative and professional work. That I’d have to give up one passion in order to pursue another. Then I heard a simple but profound question (probably on a podcast): “What are the actual barriers that exist, and which ones are you creating?”

I’ve asked this question many times to my therapy clients, and recently towards myself. Why couldn’t I create a space where all my passions connect? A space for creative living that allows for curiosity, creativity, and courage to do things differently.

And so, the Brave Collective Co. is now a space where passions don’t compete, they connect.
